Reporting toUnit Head - SAP Operations
Educational/ Professional Qualification• Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
• Candidates having a Master's degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and / or relevant certification(s) will be preferred
Experience• Minimum 04 years of experience in SAP financial and operational support and / or financial systems, preferably in bank(s)
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required• Expertise in providing operational and technical 1st level support of SAP financial accounting system
• Expertise in analyzing issues of General Ledger (GL) balancing
• Ability to check and verify the posting of all financial transactions files in SAP financial, generated daily by Core Banking Systems
• Expertise in providing support to business end-users
• Good analytical skills to identify the root cause of the issues
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team
Outline of
Main Duties/ Responsibilities
• To execute daily operational / technical tasks of SAP GLs
• To liaise with relevant stakeholders for investigation and rectification of posting errors and ensure timely availability of daily GL abstract to all branches
• To provide required reports / data from SAP for the various groups of the Bank
• To prepare files to transfer GLs balances (WHT, FED & others) from branches to head office as per defined frequency
• To prepare and post file(s) in SAP for GL balancing on the basis of data received from GL balancing team
• To maintain profit center / cost center in SAP and transfer of GL balances for branch mergers
• To post interest in all branches in head office general account used for inter branch transactions
• To perform routine tasks related to monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing as per SOP
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
